Call to Artists
Rural Oregon Arts Association will be celebrating the
125th anniversary of the founding of Crook County
with a juried art exhibit held primarily at the County
Library during the month of October. Some art may
also be displayed at county buildings around
Prineville during the event. The theme of the exhibit
is “A Legacy of Time” Celebrating 125 years
of Crook County. All media will be considered and
once accepted, eligible for cash awards.
Artists are being encouraged to submit work
spotlighting the theme ‘Legacy of Time’ in the
broadest sense. The artwork judged as most
representative of the theme in celebration of the
125th year of Crook County will receive special
recognition including being featured on the official
event poster and select associated advertisements.
The most thematic artwork will receive special
placement for maximum viewing potential and be
considered for cash awards.
